Cupping Massage

**** This form of Therapeutic Massage can leave marks. Marks can last anywhere from a day to two weeks and can become deeper in color as they heal.

Cupping is an “alternative” medicine where a special type of cup is used to create a suction on the skin. The belief that the cups will bring blood flow to the surface of the skin to pull out toxins and help promote healing. This massage is a dry cupping only.

“The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines.” (pacificcollege.edu)

Michelle Dyer Licensed Massage Therapist

Michelle Dyer (Bobbish) is a Licensed Massage Therapist and recent graduate of Cortiva Institute, formerly Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, where she learned multiple massage modalities. She is dedicated to therapeutic massage therapy, essential oils, and holistic whole-body healing.

As a wife and mother of two young children she has always been interested in a more ‘natural’, chemical free lifestyle, so when introduced to essential oils in 2012, and being blown away by the multiple benefits, she wanted to find a way to combine EO with a career that helped others be the best versions of themselves. Massage Therapy and essential oils have proven to be a beautiful, powerful, life-changing match which she enthusiastically wants to share with everyone.

“With all of the daily chaos, noise, deadlines and overall stress people deal with non-stop, I love being able to silence the madness through compassionate touch, and help relieve the tension that builds in the muscles, returning positive, healing energy back into the body”

She has mastered the full body Swedish Massage, Raindrop Technique Massage, and Deep Tissue, optimally working with light to moderate pressure.
